Spirit Week 2014

Spirit Week is my favorite week of the school year. What I enjoyed the most was playing the spirit week games in the gym and also outside. I also enjoyed Powder Puff. Here are some pictures from last week:

Huck Finn

In the novel, The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, Huck and Jim go on a journey down the river in the hopes of finding a place of freedom. Huck is a young boy who is mostly harassed by his father and Jim is an escaped black slave. Huck disguises himself as many different people in many different places so no one will know he left. Huck fakes his death to stay safe in the novel, also. In the end, Jim gets captured and Huck returns to find him. They both go back out west in the hopes of finding freedom for the second time. 

I would like to take a vacation to Hawaii. I personally love the beach so it would be great to visit there. The beaches there are beautiful and there are many things to do there. It would be a relaxing vacation for both me, and my family.

I have watched the television show, Jeopardy and it is very educational to children and adults who are interested in these topics. Another positive thing about it is that it gives people around the world the idea to go forward with learning and studying. The last good thing about is that it is fun for families to play along with at home. The negative things about the show consists mostly of how people get paid so much money to answer a question. Another bad thing about the show is that the topics portrayed on the show are very rare so viewers have a difficult time getting the answer who play at home. The last negative thing I could say about it is that it's more appealing to an older audience rather than a younger one.
